Outstanding trio of W514 strip cards, each featuring the extremely rare "Mother's Bread" advertising reverse. Each card is professionally graded and encapsulated as Authentic by PSA. The W514 set is the largest and most widely collected of the various strip-card issues of the era. Cards from this set are occasionally found with advertising backs, and "Mother's Bread" is one of the scarcest. This collection consists of the following: #34 Miller Huggins (presents as Vg-Ex), 67 Hank Gowdy (presents as Fr), and 68 Jake Daubert (presents as Vg-Ex). The Daubert and Huggins examples ideally have perfectly clean and crisp advertising backs, while the Gowdy exhibits a few areas of adhesive residue and paper loss that affect parts of the advertisement. This is a very attractive and extremely rare group of three cards featuring the desirable "Mother's Bread" advertisement from the W514 issue, one of the most important and comprehensive sets of the era. Total: 3 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
