Very attractive pair of mid-grade T206 examples, each featuring a notable Hall of Famer and graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Both cards feature the very desirable El Principe De Gales advertising reverse. El Principe De Gales is a scarce back, certainly not in the same league as Drum or Uzit, but very unusual and seen far less often than the standard Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertising back. 1) Nap Lajoie/throwing. Crisp and clean, with centering only slightly to the left, perfect registration, and light, even corner rounding. 2) Jack Chesbro. Crisp and clean, with centering toward the bottom, and light, even corner rounding. A very small spot of paper loss on the reverse is mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy. The important El Principe De Gales advertising reverses are boldly printed and well centered on both. This is a superb pair of rare back T206 cards worthy of any T206 White Border set or prewar Hall of Fame collection. Total: 2 cards. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
