Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. One of only two examples graded at this level with none higher Outstanding high-grade example of Doc Casey (Brooklyn Superbas) from the E92 Dockman & Sons caramel-card set. E92 Dockman & Sons is a very scarce caramel issue from 1909 that shares designs with several other closely related candy issues (Croft's Candy, Nadja Caramels, etc.) from the same era. The offered example is bright and crisp, with a striking image set against a bold red background, four strong corners, and outstanding centering. The back is boldly printed and perfectly clean. Caramel cards, because they were issued with candy, one card per package, did not easily escape damage or hold up well to wear over the years. This is an outstanding grade for a caramel card! A tremendous example from one of the most popular, elusive, and colorful of all “E” card issues. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
