Sandy Koufax won just two games during his inaugural 1955 major league season with the Brookln Dodgers. Offered here is a ticket stub from that second win, which took place on September 3rd in a game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Ebetts Field. The ticket (1.25 x 2.5 inches), which was issued for a "Lower Box" seat, remains in Excellent to Mint condition. Encapsulated and certified as "Authentic" by PSA. Koufax recorded a 4-0 complete-game shutout over the Pirates on September 3rd, limiting the Bucs to five hits while striking out six (his first win was also a shutout). Only 7,767 fans turned out for the game that day, making this a rare souvenir from the club's only World Championship season in Brooklyn. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
