Robinson Cano Rawlings pro-model ("R456B") bat dating from the 2006 season. Cano's name is stamped on the barrel in block letters. The model number ("456B"), order number ("436"), and year code ("06") are each stamped in the knob. Cano's name and the original bat weight ("Cano 32") are written on the knob in black ink. As noted in the accompanying LOA from PSA/DNA, the bat displays "evidence of excellent use with a slight handle crack. The barrel is covered with ball marks and ball stitch marks. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. Also visible on the bat are cleat marks and blue bat rack streaks. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle." Cano batted a career-high .342 with 15 home runs and 78 RBI in 2006, which was just his second season in the majors. Considered one of the top hitters in baseball, Cano is a seven-time All Star and has finished in the top five of MVP voting on three separate occasions. His Hall of Fame resume also includes two Gold Gloves and five Silver Slugger Awards, not to mention a current career batting average of .300. Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 32.6 ounces. LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
