Program, scorecard, and two ticket stubs from the 1935 All-Star Game, played at Cleveland Stadium on July 8th. Powered by a Jimmie Foxx two-run home run in the first inning the American League defeated their National rivals 4-1 in just the third All-Star Game ever played. 1)
Program. The thirty-two page program (7.75 x 10.5 inches) features photos and brief biographies of each participant. Neatly scored in pencil. Ex. 2)
Scorecard. This fold-over scorecard (6 x 9 inches), which at a cost of ten cents was fifteen cents cheaper than the official program, features Tigers catcher Mickey Cochrane on the cover. Not scored. Much rarer than the official program and only the second example we have seen. Nr-Mt. 3-4)
Two ticket stubs. Each stub (3.25 x 2.25 inches), each issued for a "Lower Res." seat. One is Ex-Mt, the other Ex (a few very tiny creases). Total: 4 items (program, scorecard, and two ticket stubs. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
