Graded FAIR 20 by SGC (submitted by REA). Outstanding PC760 Rose Postcard example of George McQuillan of the Philadelphia Phillies (misspelled "McQuillen" on the card). Among advanced collectors, Rose Postcards are regarded as one of the most striking and magnificently designed baseball-card sets ever produced. They are also extremely rare. Crisp image and bold colors, even wear on the corners, and a couple light creases. Downgraded due to the reverse being addressed in black ink and postmarked (July 12, 1909). This is an extremely attractive example from one of the era's most classic sets. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
