Graded VG 40 by SGC (submitted by REA). This is the ONLY example graded at this level with just two higher! Outstanding PC760 Rose Postcard example of Eddie Grant of the Philadelphia Phillies. (Grant is the only Major Leaguer killed in action in World War I.) Among advanced collectors, Rose Postcards are regarded as one of the most striking and magnificently designed baseball-card sets ever produced. They are also extremely rare. Crisp image and bold colors, four strong corners showing light touches of wear, and an entirely clean, postally unused reverse. Downgraded due to a few light creases. This is an extremely attractive example from one of the era's most classic sets. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
