New York Yankees team-signed sheet, plus three cuts, dating from the club's 1951 World Championship season, including DiMaggio and two Mickey Mantle rookie signatures. 1951 was the only season in which DiMaggio and Mantle played together, making this sheet a highly coveted souvenir from that historic year. The sheet, which displays a hand-drawn Yankees logo in the center, has been signed in blue ink by the following twenty-eight team members: DiMaggio, Mantle, Berra, Mize, Rizzuto, Morgan, Coleman, Brideweser, Ostrowski, Turner (coach), Shea, Hogue, Bauer, Raschi, Martin, Kuzava, Courtney, Collins, Henrich (coach), Nevel, Wilson, Lopat, Sain, McDougald, Silvera, Schallock, Reynolds, and Overmire. The cuts are those of Mantle (6.5 x 1.75 inches), Morgan (3.75 x 1.75 inches), and Coleman (4.5 x 2.25 inches). Signatures range from "6" to "10," averaging "8/9." The sheet (7.25 x 9.5 inches), which is slightly toned, has been slightly trimmed along three borders and displays a pinhole and an affixed newspaper clipping on the reverse. In Very Good to Excellent condition. Each cut is in Very Good condition overall, with tape residue and/or affixed newspaper images of the respective player. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
