Collection of four baseball cabinet-card photos, each picturing a single uniformed player in a formal studio setting. All measure approximately 4.25 x 6.5 inches and two feature a photographer's credit along the base of the mount. 1) Player, standing, leaning on a bat, with "S. J. A." lettered on his jersey. Credited to "Shepherd, St. Johnsbury, VT." Vg-Ex. 2) Player, standing, with ball in hand, wearing a light-colored uniform. Credited to "Roland, Norborne, MO." Nr-Mt. 3) Player, standing, ball in hand, with "E. A. " lettered on his bib-front jersey. No photographer's credit. Tiny pencil notation on reverse. Vg-Ex, with a tiny tack hole along the base of the mount. 4) Player, standing, with arms folded. No photographer's credit. (This photo does not appear to be original to the period and is most likely a second-generation image.) The mount is trimmed along all four borders' otherwise Ex-Mt. Total: 4 cabinet photos.
