Extremely substantial shoebox collection of 1,605 cards from four popular 1950s Topps sets. This collection is highlighted by more than 110 Hall of Famers, including Hank Aaron, Ernie Banks, and Mickey Mantle. Forty-one cards are graded and encapsulated by PSA. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1956 Topps (321 cards): Condition is 35% Ex (including a few better), 53% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 12% lower (including a couple trimmed). Keys: #10 Spahn (heavily trimmed, otherwise Ex), two 101 Campanella (VG-EX 4 and VG+ 3.5), two 107 Mathews (EX 5 and next cards shows, otherwise Vg-Ex), 109 Slaughter (Vg), 113 Rizzuto (VG 3), 118 Fox (Vg), two 120 Ashburn (Vg and Pr-Fr), 145 Hodges (Fr), five 165 Schoendienst (EX 5, two Vg, Pr-Fr, and trimmed, otherwise Fr), 194 Irvin (Vg), two 195 Kell (Vg+ and pen writing on front, otherwise Vg-Ex), two 200 Feller (VG-EX 4 and Gd), 240 Ford (Vg), six 250 Doby (Vg-Ex, four Vg, and Gd), 255 Lemon (Vg-Ex+), five 292 Aparicio RC (EX-MT 6, EX 5 [MC], two Gd, and Pr), and two 307 Wilhelm (Vg and pen mark on back, otherwise Vg). 2) 1957 Topps (331 cards): Condition is 47% Ex to Ex-Mt and 53% Vg to Vg-Ex (including eleven lower). Keys: Three #7 Aparicio (Ex-Mt and two Ex), 18 Drysdale RC (Vg-Ex), four 40 Wynn (Ex-Mt, Ex+, Vg-Ex, and Vg+), two 70 Ashburn (Ex and Gd), three 125 Kaline (Ex+, 85/15 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt, and Vg), 203 Wilhelm (Ex), two 210 Campanella (80/20 L/R, otherwise Ex-Mt and 85/15 L/R, otherwise Ex), and two 400 Dodgers’ Sluggers (Ex and no bottom border, otherwise Ex). 3) 1958 Topps (138 cards): Condition is 58% Ex (including a few Ex-Mt), 30% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 12% Fr to Gd (mostly due to small marks on backs). Keys: #90 Roberts (Ex), 100 Wynn (10/90 L/R, otherwise Ex), 324 Wilhelm (Ex+), 343 Cepeda RC (pencil mark on back, otherwise Ex), 488 Aaron AS (Ex), and 483 Aparicio AS (Ex-Mt). 4) 1959 Topps (815 cards): Condition is 61% Ex to Ex-Mt and 39% Vg to Vg-Ex (including 2% lower).
