1963 Topps #537 Pete Rose Rookie SGC NM/MT 88
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,133
Graded NM/MT 88 by SGC. Extremely high grade example of 1963 Topps Pete Rose rookie card, one of baseball card collecting's modern classics. This card is particularly difficult to find in high grade due to the flush-to-the-border design, which makes the top edges and corners so susceptible to wear. The card displays virtually perfect centering, with flawless bright colors and four sharp corners. Perfectly clean both front and back, this is a strong card in all respects, and an exceptionally high grade example of the key card to the 1963 Topps set. The equivalent SMR in the assigned grade is $1,750. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500+. SOLD FOR $2,133
