1921 E121 American Caramel (Series of 80) Eddie Collins PSA NM 7 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $948

Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Ultra high-grade card of Chicago White Sox Hall of Famer Eddie Collins from the E121 American Caramel (Series of 80) set. American Caramel cards from this era have always been appreciated by collectors for their simple, classic design. This card is no exception as Collins is shown in a ready-to-bat pose set against a plain white background. One of the highlights of a newly discovered collection, the card is extremely crisp and clean with four sharp corners showing only the slightest traces of wear under close inspection and a flawless image. Centered to the left (approximately 30/70 L/R). The reverse is clean and boldly printed. This is a magnificent example of Eddie Collins in extraordinary high grade from this popular 1920s caramel-card issue. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $948
