Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Ultra high-grade card of Cleveland Indians Hall of Famer Tris Speaker (Manager on front variation) from the E121 American Caramel (Series of 80) set. American Caramel cards from this era have always been appreciated by collectors for their simple and classic design. This card is no exception as Speaker is shown in a follow-through batting pose set against a baseball diamond backdrop. One of the highlights of a newly discovered collection, the card is particularly crisp and clean with four sharp corners and a flawless image. The reverse is clean and boldly printed. This is a stunning example of Tris Speaker in outstanding high grade from this popular 1920s caramel-card issue. The SMR value for the assigned grade is $2,200. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++.
