1922 E120 American Caramel Waite Hoyt PSA NM 7 - 1 of 1 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $533

Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! Exceptional high-grade example of New York Yankees Hall of Famer Waite Hoyt from the E120 American Caramel set. One of the highlights of a newly discovered collection, the card is particularly crisp and clean, with four sharp corners and a flawless image. The slight natural "diamond" cut that is responsible for the slight centering to the left is perhaps all that keeps the card out of a higher grade. Nonetheless, Near Mint is an incredible grade for cards from this issue, which is universally recognized as the most classic set from the 1920s. Its striking design also makes E120 one of the most attractive baseball-card sets of any era. This is an outstanding example of Hall of Famer Waite Hoyt in ultra high-grade from this popular 1920s caramel-card issue. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $533
