1915 E145 Cracker Jack PSA-Graded Collection of 100 Different (100/176)

Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $11,850

The 1915 Cracker Jacks are universally considered one of the most classic and highly regarded baseball-card sets ever produced. Issued one card per box, the entire set of 176 cards could also be ordered by mail in exchange for 100 coupons, or 1 coupon plus 25 cents. Offered here is an extremely substantial collection comprised of 100 different of the 176 cards featured in this important issue. All 100 cards have been graded and encapsulated VG 3 by PSA. To collect this set on a reasonable budget, in lower grade, is much harder than meets the eye, because the lower grade, more reasonably priced cards, of which this partial set is comprised, tend to be cards that were actually packaged with Cracker Jack (as opposed to factory-set cards that were somehow mishandled or damaged). The cards in this collection display outstanding color, crisp images, and very minimal caramel staining. A relatively affordable substantial collection of 1915 Cracker Jacks is rarely seen or offered. Cards from this classic set in the grade offered here naturally represent a tremendous value and for this reason in part they are understandably extremely desirable to many collectors. This partial set consists of the following: #4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 28, 29, 31, 33, 34, 38, 40, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 54, 55, 58, 59, 60, 62, 64, 67, 72, 76, 79, 80, 81, 84, 89, 92, 93, 95, 96, 97, 98, 100, 102, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 124, 125, 126, 129, 130, 131, 134 Marsans, 138, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 148, 149, 151, 152, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157, 158, 159, 160, 162, 163, 164, 165, 168, 169, 171, 173, 174, 175, and 176. This is a rarely offered, relatively affordable, extremely consistent collector-grade partial set of one of card collecting's most classic issues. The SMR value for this group is $4,340. Highly recommended! Total: 100 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,500+. SOLD FOR $11,850
