1914 E145 Cracker Jack #32 Mordecai Brown
Starting Bid - $400, Sold For - $1,067
Graded EX 60 by SGC. Exceptionally strong example of Hall of Famer Mordecai Brown from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. This card is bright and clean with a bold red background and light, even wear to the corners. The front is largely free of any caramel staining while the reverse has light spotting visible, as is almost always the case with #144 series cards. Centered to the left. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. It is rare to find any #144 series Cracker Jack in high grade, let alone such a clean and attractive example of Hall of Famer Mordecai Brown. Reserve $400. Estimate $800+. SOLD FOR $1,067
