1910 E125 American Caramel Die-cut SGC-Graded Collection (4)
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $711
Collection of four E125 American Caramel cards, each graded and encapsulated as "Authentic" by SGC. The offered cards all present very well despite technical flaws responsible for the "Authentic" designation, such as light reinforcement to small creases or missing pieces. E125s tend to have all kinds of condition problems due to their fragile construction, so collectors are naturally a little more tolerant with this issue. This collection consists of the following: Al Bridwell/fielding (New York Giants, missing hand), Bobby Byrne/throwing (Pittsburgh Pirates, missing hand and one bottom flap), Red Murray/fielding (New York Giants, missing bottom flaps, writing on front), and Owen Wilson/throwing (Pittsburgh Pirates, reinforced crease, checked checklist on reverse). E125 die-cuts are among the rarest of all 1910-era candy issues. This is a very attractive, technically low-grade collection of four of these rare and uniquely designed 1910-era baseball die-cut caramel cards. Total: 4 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $711
