1903 E107 Breisch-Williams Lew Drill
Starting Bid - $200, Sold For - $474
Graded POOR 10 by SGC. Rare sample card from the legendary E107 Breisch-Williams series featuring catcher Lew Drill from the Washington Senators of the American League. E107s represent the only major baseball-card set of the era, filling the void between the popular photographic cards of the 1880s and the many tobacco- and caramel-card issues of the 1910 era. This example displays considerable wear to the surface, heavy rounding of the corners, and an edge tear along the right border. Blank reverse. Though in modest grade, this is still a very rare card from this classic prewar set. Reserve $200. Estimate (open). SOLD FOR $474
