Two 1970 Topps Baseball Uncut Sheets (132 cards per sheet)

Pair of original 1970 Topps uncut final production sheets, one each from the fourth and sixth series of this popular set. Each sheet contains a total of 132 cards arranged in eleven rows of twelve cards, which represents a triple-printed run of forty-four different cards from its respective series. Several Hall of Famers and stars are featured in triplicate, including fourth-series All-Star cards of Reggie Jackson, Willie McCovey, Ron Santo, and Pete Rose as well as sixth-series cards of Willie Mays, Ernie Banks, and Gaylord Perry. Both sheets present with exceptional visual appeal, maintaining the same vibrant colors and display value as they did more than forty years ago. Each sheet displays only minor technical flaws along the borders and at the corners, including small tears, as well as light wrinkling on some of the interior cards, all commonly found in sheets due to their large size. A wrinkle affects one of the interior Mays cards while the other two present as Nr/Mt-Mt. Perfect for display with a spectacular Excellent or better appearance overall, the offered pair of sheets would make tremendous companion pieces to any 1970 Topps complete set or significant additions to any uncut-sheet collection.
