1887 N173 Goodwin Old Judge Cabinet Doggie Miller

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $1,066.50

Graded Authentic by SGC. N173 Goodwin Old Judge cabinet example of Doggie Miller, Pittsburg, posed in front of a simple studio backdrop. This is an magnificent N173 example that presents Vg-Ex but has been deemed Authentic due to traces of ink on the front used to fill in a wrinkle that broke part of the surface. It is nearly imperceptible. All N173s should look this great! The image on this card is bold, with strong contrast and detail. Very bright, crisp, and clean, both front and back. This is an outstanding sample from one of the most revered and substantial of all nineteenth-century baseball-card issues. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,066.50
