Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Out of 325 examples of 1933 Goudey #158 Moe Berg graded by PSA to date, only nineteen have been graded at this level, and only three have ever been graded higher. Crisp image of Berg in a catching pose presented with flawless registration. Sharp corners. Centered slightly to the left with a slight "diamond" cut. Clean, boldly printed reverse. Berg is perhaps better known for his time as a spy during World War II than for his baseball career. This is a very attractive high-grade PSA example of this classic 1930s bubble-gum card. SMR value is $1,750. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,777.50
