1955 Bowman Unopened Five-Cent Wax Pack with Empty Display Box

Starting Bid - $200.00, Sold For - $948.00

Graded EX+ 5.5 by GAI. This is an original, unopened five-cent wax pack of 1955 Bowman baseball cards. Magnificent example of this pack, containing nine cards, downgraded from an even higher grade due to just a little minor soiling on the reverse and early stage loosening of the sealing glue. This pack is very likely from the famous "Paris, Tennessee Find" of unopened 1955 Bowman boxes discovered decades ago by legendary dealer Alan "Mr. Mint" Rosen. Accompanied by an empty counter-display box with bold color and some shelf wear evident as well as minor writing on the top panel and soiling on the bottom. These items, direct from one of the "golden eras" of baseball cards, are great companion pieces to any 1955 Bowman set or additions to any unopened pack collection. Total: 2 items (one box and one pack). Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $948.00
