1955 Topps #123 Sandy Koufax Rookie PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $2,666.25

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Magnificent high-grade example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card. The 1955 Topps Koufax rookie (#123) is the most valuable card in that year's set after Roberto Clemente's rookie card in the high-number series. The card displays four sharp corners, with brilliant colors, near-perfect centering, and flawless registration. Only a few very faint printing specs in the yellow background (mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy), which are so common to this card, keep this gem from an even higher grade. This is a stunning world-class example of Sandy Koufax's rookie card, one of the most popular and classic of all 1950s bubble-gum cards. The SMR value is $2,700. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000+.
