Original-owner "shoebox" collection of two 1950s Topps sets, each representing a running start toward completion: a 1953 Topps partial set (119 cards) and a 1954 Topps partial set (169 cards). The 1953 and 1954 Topps sets are highlighted by numerous stars, key cards, and Hall of Famers, including Mickey Mantle, Hank Aaron rookie, Satchel Paige, Ted Williams, and Willie Mays. 1) 1953 Topps (119 of 274 cards plus 15 duplicates): 9% Vg, 43% Fr to Gd, and 48% Pr. Keys: #54 Feller (Pr/Fr), 61 Wynn SP (Gd/Vg), 77 Mize (Pr/Fr), 78 Schoendienst (Gd), 82 Mantle (Pr), 86 Martin (Fr), two 104 Berra (both Pr), 162 Kluszewski (Vg), 191 Kiner (Pr), two 220 Paige (Fr and Pr), and 263 Podres (Fr). 2) 1954 Topps (169 of 250 cards plus 14 duplicates): 27% Vg, 34% Gd, and 39% Pr (including some Fr).
