Original boyhood "shoebox" collection of 460 different Bowman and Topps baseball cards, dating from 1952 to 1955, highlighted by numerous stars and key cards, including 1952 Topps #1 Andy Pafko, 1953 Topps #244 Willie Mays, and 1955 Bowman #202 Mickey Mantle. This collection consists of the following: 1) 1952 Topps (183 cards): 93% Gd to Vg-Ex, averaging Vg, and 7% lesser. Includes forty-three low numbers (#1-80, all red back except one black back). Keys: #1 Pafko (Vg+), 11 Rizzuto (Fr), 29 Kluszewski (Vg-Ex), 33 Spahn (Vg+), 37 Snider (Gd), 59 Roberts (Vg), 65 Slaughter (Vg), 88 Feller (Gd-Vg), 91 Schoendienst (Vg-Ex+), 175 Martin RC (Gd+), 216 Ashburn (Vg-Ex), 243 Doby (Vg), and 246 Kell (Ex). 2) 1953 Topps (62 cards): Vg to Ex condition, averaging Vg-Ex with eight lesser. Keys: #25/26 Robinson/Hoak (Pr) and 105/106 Aaron/Herbert (Gd/Vg). 6) 1955 Bowman (157 cards): 25% Ex with some better, 47% Vg-Ex, 28% Vg with some lesser including a few Pr-Fr.
