1934 R320 Goudey #90 Ki Ki Cuyler SGC NM/MT+ 92

Starting Bid - $400.00, Sold For - $1,185.00

Graded NM/MT+ 92 by SGC. One of only four examples graded at this level with none graded higher. Centered very slightly to the left (40/60 L/R) with four razor-sharp corners, and deep, rich colors. The image is bright and crisp with perfect registry. The reverse has light, even natural toning. Cuyler is the only Hall of Famer featured in the 1934 Goudey rare high-number series (#73-96). This card bears the "Chuck Klein says..." banner in red at the bottom, a variation from the normal "Lou Gehrig says..." in blue. This is a world-class, high-grade example of this classic 1930s bubble-gum card. The equivalent SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,600. Reserve $400. Estimate $800+. SOLD FOR $1,185.00
