1933 R319 Goudey PSA-Graded Collection (36)

Collection of thirty-five cards from the 1933 Goudey set plus one 1934-1936 R327 Diamond Stars. The 1933 Goudey set is universally recognized as the most important of all 1930s gum-card issues and is extremely popular among collectors. This collection is highlighted by five Hall of Famers: Mel Ott, Rogers Hornsby, Ernie Lombardi, Waite Hoyt, and Joe Cronin. Twenty-eight cards are professionally graded (all PSA except for three SGC). PSA grading composite: NM-MT 8 (1 card): #153 (OC). NM 7 (1 card): #221. EX-MT 6 (8 cards): Two #84, 96 (SGC EX/NM 80), 97 (SGC EX/NM 80), 100, 120, 140 (SGC EX/NM 80), and 170. EX 5 (7 cards): #32, 39, 60 Hoyt, 109 Cronin, 166 (MC), 167, and 221. VG-EX 4 (6 cards): #36, 52, 118, 136, 140, and 153. VG 3 (4 cards): #97, 100, 206, and 231. GOOD 2 (1 card): #186. Ungraded (8 cards): #45 (trim), 70 (Gd), 140 (Vg-Ex), 188 Hornsby (Vg-Ex), 204 (Gd), 207 Ott (area of paper loss on front, otherwise Ex), 214 (trim), and Diamond Stars #36 Lombardi (Vg, "Earnie" variation). This is an attractive collection of cards with a few notable highlights from one of the most classic of all baseball-card sets.
