1914 E145 Cracker Jack #43 Rube Marquard

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $1,066.50

Graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. Very attractive example of Hall of Famer Rube Marquard from the 1914 Cracker Jack #144 series. This very popular horizontal card is well centered with even corner wear and a light crease in the lower right. This card is bright and clean with a bold red background and only a very faint caramel stain visible in the uniform area on front as is almost always the case with #144 series cards. The 1914 Cracker Jacks, of course, are far rarer to find in high grade than their 1915 counterparts, because the 1914 #144 series cards were only issued in boxes of Cracker Jack. This is an outstanding example of Hall of Famer Rube Marquard from the classic 1914 Cracker Jack series. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,066.50
