Collection of ninety-five different cards from the M101-4 Sporting News set highlighted by twelve Hall of Famers, including Nap Lajoie, as well as "Black Sox" stars Eddie Cicotte and Chic Gandil. The cards in this collection represent nearly one-half of a complete 1916 M101-4 Sporting News set. The M101-4s, along with their sister set M101-5, are two of the most highly regarded and comprehensive baseball-card sets of the era. This is a very attractive group of cards with flawless real-photo images. Condition is nineteen Ex-Mt to Nr/Mt, fifty-six Ex, eleven Vg-Ex, and nine lesser. We have selected fourteen cards to be graded by SGC.
