1909-1911 T206 James Westlake PSA NM-MT 8 – Southern Leaguer

Starting Bid - $500.00, Sold For - $6,517.50

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only three examples graded at this level by PSA with none graded higher. Outstanding ultra high-grade T206 example of Southern Leaguer James Westlake. The Southern Leaguers have always been appreciated for their scarcity and as a popular subset to the T206 series. This is a particularly striking card worthy of the finest T206 set in the world. Bright and crisp, with four sharp corners, excellent centering, and extremely bold colors. Clean and boldly printed Old Mill reverse. We have found that at auction, cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades can often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $1,575. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $6,517.50
