1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel Bill Carrigan - SGC NM 84 - Highest Graded!

Starting Bid - $300.00, Sold For - $1,185.00

Graded NM 84 by SGC. Highest graded example by SGC! Exceptional high-grade example of Boston Red Sox catcher Bill Carrigan in a portrait pose from the highly desirable E95 Philadelphia Caramel series. Bright and clean, both front and back, with a vibrant yellow background, flawless registration, four sharp corners, and perfect centering. The checklist on the back is printed in bold black ink. A very faint caramel stain on the reverse is mentioned strictly for the sake of accuracy. The designs used on E95 are particularly noted for their beauty and are unique to the set. As can easily be seen by reviewing SGC and PSA population reports, it is extremely rare to find any 1910-era caramel cards in such high grade, especially E95 Philadelphia Caramel cards, due to their card stock, which wears very easily. This is an exceptionally attractive and high-grade E95 sample. The equivalent SMR value is $1,100. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,185.00
