Waite Hoyt Single-Signed Ball

Official National League (Feeney) ball signed by Hall of Fame pitcher Waite Hoyt. Hoyt has signed the ball "Waite C. Hoyt" in black ink across the sweet spot, with the signature grading "10." Hoyt won 237 games during his career, including a league-leading twenty-two games for the legendary 1927 New York Yankees. This ball dates from the two-year manufacturing period 1978-1979. Hoyt, who was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1969, passed away in 1984 at the age of eighty-four. The ball has some light, scattered toning; it is otherwise in Near Mint condition.
