Hall of Fame Signed 3x5 Collection - Each Individually Encapsulated by PSA/DNA (25) - with Lajoie, Vance, Evans, and Chylack

This collection is comprised of twenty-five index cards, each individually signed by a different Hall of Fame player, plus a 1939 Baseball Centennial first-day cover signed by Eddie Collins. Ideally, each of the index cards (3 x 5 inches), as well as the first-day cover, has been encapsulated by PSA/DNA, with the respective autograph certified as "Authentic." All of the signatures appear on the unlined side of the card, with the exception of four. A few of the cards have been personalized "To Ted" (as noted). Unless otherwise noted, all of the signatures, which have been penned in various inks, grade "9" or "10," and the cards are in Excellent condition or better. The following players are represented: Dazzy Vance (signed "A. C. 'Dazzy' Vance" on a government postcard; postmark on the reverse obscured, but most likely 1950s, includes the salutation "With best wishes"), Nap Lajoie (signed "Larry Lajoie" and dated "11/4/55" below his name, on a brown piece of paper or cardboard), Clark Griffith, Nestor Chylak (inscribed "To Ted/Be a good sport/Nestor Chylak/A. L. Umpire '77'," photo-album residue on the reverse), George Kelly (inscribed "Best Wishes Ted," card slightly trimmed), Billy Evans, Dizzy Dean, George Weiss, George Sisler, Gabby Hartnett (on a government postcard, postmarked 1948, small strip of brown tape along the base), Pie Traynor, Ernie Lombardi, Freddy Lindstrom, Casey Stengel (inscribed "Casey Stengel/New York Mets/Hall of Famer"), Lee MacPhail Jr., Edd Roush, Lloyd Waner (inscribed "My Regards"), Red Ruffing, Joe Medwick, Goose Goslin, Chick Hafey, Frankie Frisch (inscribed "The Old Flash"), Cal Hubbard, Rube Marquard, and Max Carey (inscribed "Pirates/Dodgers/Hall of Fame"). Accompanied by a 1939 Baseball Centennial first-day cover (6.5 x 3.75 inches, Ex) signed by Eddie Collins in black fountain pen along the left border.
