Autographed 1952 Topps Baseball-Card Collection (301)

Starting Bid - $1,500.00, Sold For - $26,662.50

This 1952 Topps collection, consisting of 301 different autographed cards of the 407 cards in the set, includes twenty-two of the ninety-seven rare high numbers. A total of 295 of the 301 cards have been authenticated and encapsulated (222 PSA/DNA, 71 SGC/JSA, 1 BGS/JSA, and 1 GAI). The six cards not encapsulated are #182, 260, 289, 298, 394, and 396. All of the encapsulated cards are labeled "Authentic" (with respect to the signature, not the grading of the card) except for two that have received actual signature grades (#261 Mays and 322 Jackson both MINT 9 by PSA/DNA). Additionally, twenty-six of the cards themselves have also been graded by PSA (ranging from 1 to 5). 1952 Topps is the ultimate postwar baseball-card set. A completely autographed set is unheard of, but if ever assembled would certainly be considered by many as the ultimate autographed postwar baseball-card set.
