Complete set of Perez-Steele Great Moments Postcards, including sixty-four signed examples. One of the most beautiful sets ever issued, Perez-Steele's "Great Moments" set began publication in 1985. The offering was limited to 5,000 numbered sets with periodical updates. The set is fashioned after the colorful T-3 Turkey Red cabinet cards of 1911 and salutes the defining moments in the careers of Baseball Hall of Famers. The complete set is comprised of 108 cards, which were issued in nine twelve-card series. The offered complete set is numbered "1721. Of the 108 cards in the set, only seventy could have possibly been signed (the other thirty-eight cards depict players who died prior to the set's issue).
