1909-1911 T206 White Border PSA NM 7 Collection (5)
Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $2,252
Collection of five extremely high-grade T206 White Border tobacco cards, each graded NM 7 by PSA (all have been personally submitted to PSA over the past couple years by our consignor, now 87 years old, who collected back in the 1970s). All have Piedmont advertising backs. This high-grade group is part of a larger collection of T206 cards, which we have broken down into several smaller lots organized by condition. The collection consists of the following: Butler, Cassidy, Chappelle, Hemphill, and Jordan (batting, MC). This is a beautiful group of high-grade cards from the most popular tobacco-card issue of the 1910 era. These five examples each boast four sharp corners and extremely strong colors. Each of these cards displays as a crisp, fresh gem, worthy of inclusion in any ultra high-grade T206 collection or set. The SMR value for the assigned grades of four of the five cards in the lot (not including the one qualified card) is $1,575. Total: 5 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$1,500. SOLD FOR $2,252
