1909-1911 T206 White Border PSA EX-MT 6 Collection (15)
Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $2,963
Collection of fifteen different T206 White Border tobacco cards, each graded and encapsulated EX-MT 6 (except one EX-MT+ 6.5) by PSA (all have been personally submitted to PSA over the past couple years by our consignor, now 87 years old, who collected back in the 1970s). All have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertisements on back. This is part of a larger collection of T206 cards, which we have broken down into several smaller lots organized by condition. The collection consists of the following: Barbeau, Batch, Davidson, Demmitt (New York, EX-MT+ 6.5), Evans, Hahn, Kruger, Milligan, Murray (batting), Nichols (batting), Oberlin, Poland, Puttman, Randall (MC), and Slagle. This is an exceptionally strong group that could serve as a foundation for a high-quality T206 collection, or make a significant addition to the building of an extremely high quality set. The SMR value for the assigned grades (not including the one qualified card) is $3,010. Total: 15 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000+. SOLD FOR $2,963
