1915 E145 Cracker Jack #37 Grover Alexander - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $2,000, Sold For - $6,463

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Exceptional high-grade example of Hall of Fame pitcher Grover Alexander from the 1915 Cracker Jack series. This has always been one of Alexander’s most striking and popular cards. 1915 Cracker Jacks will always be one of the most highly prized and widely collected of all prewar sets. Crisp and clean, both front and back. This striking gem has four sharp corners, flawless colors, virtually perfect centering, and particularly large full borders. The reverse of the card is also exceptionally bright and clean with crisp, bold black text. This card was obviously once from an original "factory set" obtained by mail directly from the company. This is an extraordinary high-grade 1915 Cracker Jack example of Grover Alexander, one of baseball's greatest pitchers, from one of card collecting's most classic and popular sets. The SMR value for the assigned grade is $6,750. Reserve $2,000. Estimate $4,000+. SOLD FOR $6,463
