1909-1911 T206 White Borders SGC EX/NM 80 and EX+ 70 Collection (8)

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,175

Collection of eight different T206 White Border tobacco cards, with four cards graded EX/NM 80 by SGC, and the remaining four cards graded EX+ 70 by SGC. All the cards in this collection have Piedmont advertisements on the back. This is a very attractive collection of high-grade cards from the most popular tobacco-card issue of the 1910 era, pulled from a much larger collection based on condition. The collection consists of the following: Four EX/NM 80: Bridwell (cap), Camnitz (hands above head), Miller (Pitts.), and Pelty (horizontal). Four EX+ 70: Batch, Demmitt (NY), Summers, and Sweeney (NY). T206 White Borders are one of card collecting's most popular and classic sets. This is an exceptional group of high-grade examples that could provide upgrades to most complete sets, or make a significant contribution to the building of a set currently being assembled. The equivalent SMR value is $1,305 (there is no SMR value for the EX+ 5.5 grade, so the four examples graded at this level were calculated using the EX 5 value). Total: 8 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,175
