1909-1911 T206 White Border SGC EX+ 70 Collection (32)
Starting Bid - $1,000, Sold For - $4,406
Collection of thirty-two different T206 White Borders, all graded and encapsulated EX+ 70 by SGC (all submitted by REA). This is a very substantial collection of T206 White Borders in outstanding high grade. This is part of a larger collection of T206 cards, which we have broken down into several smaller lots organized by condition. All have Piedmont or Sweet Caporal advertisements on back unless otherwise noted. The collection consists of the following: Abbott, Becker, G. Brown - Chicago, Chase - dark cap (Old Mill back), Clymer, Congalton, Davis - Davis on front, Doyle - port., Ganley, Gilbert, Groom, Hayden, Jordan - port., Krause - port., Livingstone, Lobert (Old Mill back), Mattern (El Principe De Gales back), McGinley, Miller, Moriarty, Murphy - throwing, Oakes, Rhoades - hands at chest, Ritter, Rudolph, Spade, Stahl - glove, Steinfeldt - bat, Stone, Thomas (Old Mill back), Weimer, and Wilson. T206 White Borders are one of card collecting's most popular and classic sets. This is an exceptional group that could serve as an outstanding foundation for the building of a world-class T206 set, or make a very significant contribution to or upgrade of a set currently in the process of being assembled. The equivalent SMR value for these cards in EX condition (with no premium added for the plus as SMR does not list a value for EX+ 5.5 grades) is $4,375. Total: 32 cards. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$4,000. SOLD FOR $4,406
