1930s Non-Sport Gum and Tobacco Card "Original Childhood" Collection (134)

Collection of 134 non-sport gum and tobacco cards from the 1930s, with representation from four different issues. This is an original "childhood" collection, assembled in the 1930s and saved by the family of the original owner. 1) 1932 R114 U. S. Caramel “Presidents” (35 cards, 22 different; the listed colors reference the backgrounds): two John Adams (blue and orange), James Madison (blue), John Q. Adams (blue), Martin Van Buren (blue), William Harrison (orange), three John Tyler (all orange), James Polk (red), Zachary Taylor (blue), Calvin Coolidge (blue, bottom clipped), two Franklin Pierce (blue and red), two James Buchanan (both orange), Andrew Johnson (orange), two Ulysses Grant (blue and orange), Rutherford Hayes (orange, bottom clipped), two Chester Arthur (both orange, each has the bottom clipped), two Grover Cleveland (both orange, each has the bottom clipped), three Benjamin Harrison (blue and two orange, each has the bottom clipped), two Teddy Roosevelt (both orange, each has the bottom clipped), two William Taft (orange and blue - bottom clipped), Woodrow Wilson (orange, bottom clipped), Warren Harding (orange, bottom clipped), and two FDR (both orange, each has the bottom clipped). Without reference to the sixteen cards clipped on the bottom the cards in this collection range from Gd to Vg (with a few slightly lesser). 2) 1933 R73 Goudey "Indian Gum" (51 cards): twenty-four cards range from Vg to Vg-Ex (with a couple slightly better), twenty-seven range from Pr to Gd (including a few trimmed). 3) 1936-1939 T47 Tareyton “British Sovereigns” (24 of 42 in the set): Condition ranges in grade from Gd to Vg-Ex (with a couple lesser). 4) 1936 T78 Tareyton "Little Henry" (24 different): Condition ranges in grade from Fr to Vg (with a couple lesser).
