Outstanding ultra high-grade complete set of all five different golfers including Bobby Jones from the popular 1926 Lambert & Butler "Who's Who In Sport" set, each graded and encapsulated by PSA. This 50-card multisport issue features only five golfers (Jones, Sweetser, Gourlay, Leitch, and Boomer). The five PSA-graded cards include two PSA MINT 9s and three PSA NM-MT 8s. The set was produced by the England-based tobacco company Lambert & Butler. Cards from this set feature black-and-white photos of the greatest athletes of the day from their respective sport, including the rookie card of the legendary Bobby Jones, considered by many to be the "Babe Ruth" of golf. Bobby Jones's greatest achievement was winning the "Grand Slam" of golf in 1930 (the Open Championship, the U.S. Open Championship, the United States Men's Amateur Golf Championship, and the British Amateur Championship). The PSA grades are as follows: #2 Bobby Jones rookie (PSA NM-MT 8, only four examples graded higher), 30 Sweetser (PSA MINT 9, one of only two at this level with none graded higher), 38 Gourlay (PSA MINT 9, highest graded!), 40 Leitch (PSA NM-MT 8, one of only three at this level with none graded higher), and 44 Boomer (PSA NM-MT 8, none graded higher).
