1984-1985 NBA All-Star Team-Signed Ball with Rookie Jordan Signature

Spalding NBA official game ball signed in black Sharpie by twenty-one participants in the 1985 NBA All-Star Game, including rookie sensation Michael Jordan, who was making his first appearances in the NBA's showcase event. The twenty-one signatures on the ball are those of Michael Jordan, Julius Irving, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Adrian Dantley, Ralph Sampson, Alex English, Larry Nance, Rolando Blackman, Jack Sikma, Calvin Natt, Hakeem Olajuwon, Isiah Thomas, Robert Parish, Terry Cummings, Bernard King, Bill Laimbeer, Dennis Johnson, Sidney Moncrief, and Michael Ray Richardson. Signatures range in grade from "6" to "8," averaging "7." The ball is in Excellent to Mint condition. Jordan started for the Eastern Conference in the 1985 All-Star Game and finished with seven points in his club's 140-129 loss. Jordan also finished second to Dominique Wilkins in the Slam Dunk contest, an event he later won two years in a row beginning in 1987.
