Large Twentieth-Century Baseball-Game Collection (34 games, 1904-1959)

Starting Bid - $500, Sold For - $1,175

This large and diverse baseball-game collection, consisting of thirty-one different games (plus a few duplicates), spans the years 1904 through 1959 and features a number of significant titles. Nearly all forms of games are represented here, including card games, board games, action games, and even a few classic baseball punch boards. Numbered among the highlights are Base Ball (1910 by the Pan American Toy Company), Pat Moran's Own Ball Game (1919 by the Smith, Kline, & French Company), Follow the Stars Indoor League Baseball (1922 by H. Allan Watts, Milwaukee, Wisconsin), Danny MacFayden's Stove League Baseball Game (1927 by The National Games Company), and Waner's Baseball Game (circa 1930s by Waner's Baseball Inc.). Unfortunately, space limitations preclude us from listing each game individually in the catalog; however, a complete inventory of all the games (including detailed condition reports) is available via email, fax, or regular mail upon request. Total: 34 games (31 different). Please Note: Due to the size and/or weight of this lot, shipping costs (depending on where it is sent and its method of shipping) may be substantial. Reserve $500. Estimate (Open). SOLD FOR $1,175
