Fascinating and extremely eclectic collection of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century baseball cards, including nine Hall of Famers, mostly low grade but with some exceptions, spanning the years from 1888 to 1933, with representation of nine different issues: 1) 1888 N28 Allen & Ginter: Kelly (HOF, SGC GOOD 30, Nr/Mt appearance from the front, downgraded due to an area of paper loss on the upper left of the reverse). 2) 1889 N526 Number 7 Cigar (2 cards): Hart ("Diamond S" ad on back and "C.S. White & Co." stamp on front; borders trimmed and the number "50" written in pencil on the reverse) and Kelly (HOF, "Diamond S" ad on back and "C.S. White & Co." stamp on front; borders trimmed, heavy stain on the front, and the number "50" written in pencil on the reverse). 3) 1909-1911 E254 Colgan's Chips: Moriarty (Gd). 4) 1910 D322 Tip Top Bread Pittsburgh Pirates: Simon (Pr-Fr). 5) 1910 E125 American Caramel Die-cut: Clarke (HOF, technically in Fair condition but with a much better appearance). 6) 1911 D304 Brunners Bread: Crawford (HOF, Excellent condition from the front but downgraded to Fair due to an area of paper loss in the upper left corner of the reverse). 7) 1911 T205 Gold Border (14 cards): Condition ranges from Vg to Vg-Ex (with a few slightly lesser).
