1912 T207 Brown Background Ward Miller (Chicago)

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $1,058

Graded GOOD 30 by SGC. This is a very attractive mid-grade example of the rare T207 Ward Miller (Chicago), long recognized as one of the key rarities in the T207 set. Remarkably, this is one of four rare T207 Miller, Chicago, examples from The Louisiana Find, each of which is presented as a separate lot in this auction. The modest grade is appropriate due to creasing, but all things considered, this is a particularly impressive card for the GOOD 30 grade. Bright and crisp, with a flawless image, and a horizontal crease through the image. There is no cigarette company advertisement on the reverse ("Anonymous"). This is an exceptionally attractive card, especially for the grade, of one of the rarest cards in the classic T207 set. Reserve $300. Estimate $500++. SOLD FOR $1,058
