1909-1911 T206 Ted Easterly - PSA NM-MT 8

Starting Bid - $300, Sold For - $3,819

Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only five examples graded at this level with none graded higher. This high-grade T206 example of Ted Easterly displays extremely bold colors, with four sharp corners. The bright red background is particularly strong and brilliant, presenting a striking background with just a hint of a very small blemish above the perfectly focused portrait image. The unusual El Principe De Gales reverse is printed in bold red ink. We have found that at auction cards from extremely popular sets with very low populations in the highest grades often sell for far more than SMR, and this is especially the case with classic vintage sets such as the T206 White Borders. SMR is $865. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $3,819
