1948 "Baseball's Great Hall of Fame" Signed Exhibit Cards (10 Different)

Collection of ten 1948 Baseball’s Great Hall of Fame exhibit cards, each signed on the front in either blue or black ink by the respective player. This is a very substantial rare group of signed Hall of Famers from one of autograph collecting's most popular and classic card issues. All of the cards have been encapsulated and certified by PSA/DNA, with eight of the signatures having also been individually graded by the company. Four of the signatures grade a lofty Mint 9, four others grade NM-MT 8, and the last two are simply labeled Authentic. PSA/DNA MINT 9: Eddie Collins, Frankie Frisch, Fred Clarke, and Hugh Duffy. PSA/DNA NM-MT 8: Clark Griffith, Ed Walsh, Larry Lajoie, and Rogers Hornsby. Authentic: George Sisler (we grade the signature “8”) and Carl Hubbell (we grade the signature “6”). All of the cards are bright , crisp, and clean, grading Vg-Ex to Ex overall. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Total: 10 cards. Reserve $800. Estimate $1,500/$2,500+. SOLD FOR $3,525
