1933 New York Giants World Champions Team-Signed Ball

Official National League (Heydler) ball signed in either blue or black fountain pen by the following twenty-three members of the 1933 World Champion New York Giants: Terry (Mgr., sweet spot, clubhouse signature), Ott, Hubbell, Jackson, Parmelee (sweet spot), Mancuso, Peel, Spencer, O’Doul, Schumacher, Luque, Davis, Clark, Fitzsimmons (twice), Dressen, James, Critz, Salveson, Malay, Bell, Ryan, Moore, and Al Smith. It should be noted that it is likely that this ball was signed during spring training of 1934, as Al Smith was not on the official roster in 1933 (he debuted in 1934). Although Kiddo Davis and Bernie James were not on the Giants in 1934, both were in camp during spring training of that year. The signatures range from “4” to “8,” averaging “6.” The ball is in Excellent condition. LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,528
